Point of Order!
A Point of Order is raised when a member believes that a rule has been broken or a procedure not properly followed. This speaks to the INTEGRITY of the meeting which I take very seriously. I believe in meetings that balance the rights of its participants with both a desire for efficiency and a healthy respect for the rules. When preparing for a meeting I will often tell my clients that my job is not to tell them what they WANT to hear, it's to tell them what they NEED to hear. This integrity in my work will aid your organization in delivering a highly effective meeting as well as adding credibility and professionalism to the member meeting experience. Services
Meeting Services
Serving as parliamentarian, presiding officer, or voting scrutineer. This includes carefully reviewing and understanding your governing documents and then applying the correct meeting procedures based on applicable statutes, corporate rules, and parliamentary authority.
Parliamentary Counsel
Providing formal written opinion on procedural scenarios, reviewing governing documentation and providing interpretation or suggested revisions, and general advice on how to navigate challenging governance matters within your organization.
Training & Workshops
Organizing and delivering training and orientation sessions on the hosting of effective meetings, specific parliamentary procedures, learning the rules, effective chairing, or minute-taking. Sessions may be in the form of webinars, workshops, or email learning courses.
About
Jason E. Robinson - Certified Parliamentarian
Jason was credentialed as a Certified Parliamentarian (CP) by the American Institute of Parliamentarians (AIP) in 2019. Jason is currently an AIP member and a member of the Parliamentary Society of Toronto.

Jason has worked in the Canadian not-for-profit industry for the past 25 years, and has supported more than 200 organizations with their meetings. His focus was originally in the amateur sport sector, and his clientele includes a wide variety of sport organizations both big and small, and ranging from local clubs to national and international sport federations. Jason also supports a variety of clients in other sectors, ranging from retired teachers to realtors to physiotherapists. ​
